NYX Cosmetics

Gotta give it to NYX- they sure know how to throw a party after the IMATs last weekend in NYC. For a gal who lacks in the girl department of make up, NYX made me a girl who is now currently gushing over the different shades of blush and eye shadow my face can be adorn with. I'll have to admit that I am a little overwhelmed over the fact that there's 10 different shades of blushes.

But, let's talk about NYX's swag bags that they gave us- they literally (not being dramatic this time) gave me three years supply of make-up. See for yourself!

Excuse me, I'm gonna go try on that purple lipstick now.

Slit It Up

Another "Lazy Fashion" go-to of mine are maxi skirts. You can just put those bad boys on and you will automatically look like you know what you are doing. Dress it up with a blouse, keep it cool with a graphic-tee, or stay casual with a sweater - these skirts are made to be your best friend when it comes to feeling comfortable or when you are running out of things to wear.

Or, if you're like me - you just hate wearing pants. My lower half feels like it's in jail (a tad bit dramatic, but you get me).

P.S - Stay tune for a giveaway soon! It's about time I do one right?

The Abbaye

      Huevos Rancheros @ The Abbaye

You guys should know by now that I'm a major food fan. It's to the point where I will eat until I cry in pain (yes, I know that's a problem). But there's one thing you should REALLY know: My brunch game is pretty sick.

I'm a sucker for mimosas and Eggs Benedict. I have made it my duty to try Eggs Benedict at every different restaurants I go to- only when they serve brunch of course. I'm not a pyscho.

But this time, I got Huevos Rancheros which is basically cheese, sunny side up eggs, beans...and cheese with a side of roasted potatoes.

Spoiler alert: I took a two hour nap right after.

Forever Young

Another year older and I am forever grateful for all the blessings, opportunities, and friends that I've made. Here's to more friends and more adventures!

Many have asked how it feels to be another year older? Well, I've been taking a lot more naps lately- so I'm starting to feel more like a cat or a grandma.

Thanks for the birthday love! You guys made me a very happy girl.

Basic Chic

Ah, here we go! It's that time of year when you have no idea if you should forgo your black tights (finally), or put on pants (ugh)- simply because it is cold like the Arctic in the morning then hot like the Savannah desert in the evening. Why must life be so hard sometimes?

If you live in a region where you get all four seasons in a month, you'll know exactly what I mean. I always look to H&M for their great basic items to help me transition into Spring. They are perfect when you are confused on whether you should put on more layers or take off one, two, or heck, even three layers.

Pile it all on with H&M, but make sure you bring a nice bag or tote to carry your clothes when you strip them babies off when it gets warm! Or if you're like me, throw it in the back of your trunk...

We All Met in New York

Now, before you think that I am a bigger nerd than I actually am...Yes! I am at a museum again, but it wasn't for my own fancy. I am at my favorite, Metropolitan Museum, because I want to show my friends from Philly how museums are done in the Big Apple. I understand that my love for New York may sound a little egotistical. I am aware that New York isn't the only best city in the world (but it comes pretty dang close). Something about the museums in New York City seems a little bit more magical. And when you've finished basking in the wonders of all things history and art, what other city offers hot dog street carts right outside? New York City, that's where.

But anyways...

Cue Alicia Keys & Jay Z's "Empire State Of Mind", please.

Creative Flow

My absolute favorite thing about the world of Fashion PR is that I get to meet so many people and their puppies (I feel I might need to get a furry friend too to fit in)! It is unbelievable how many different personalities there are in the fashion world. Whether they are models, bloggers, editors, stylists, designers,  etc. , it is truly inspiring to see the creative juices flow in these beautiful people's minds. It is unreal how innovative fashion is and how it is always changing every day, all the time.

The thrill of fashion seriously keeps me alive...and totally (and by totally, I mean REALLY)  broke, but that's okay by me!
